Medieval Wax Seal depicting a sleeping lion with the inscription reading "WACEMENOMAD", meaning WAKE ME NO MAN.
This medallion is cast using the original medieval wax seal from the 14th Century. Seals like this were the first to be produced in quantity and had catchy phrases and proverbs engraved onto them that were reflective of their owner. The lion on this seal is dimensional and actually lies atop the seal and is very detailed considering its age. A very unique piece of jewelry with history and meaning!

►SIZE: charm measures 3/4" in diameter
►MATERIALS: Sterling Silver
►NECKLACE OPTION: You may chose to order JUST the pendant or select from a variety of sterling chains available in shiny silver or antiqued silver finishes from the drop down menus to the right. *See last picture for reference.
►CHARM ONLY OPTION: If you chose to order the charm only it will come on a 5mm sterling jump ring that you may thread onto your own necklace.

Please note that the picture has been enlarged so you can see the detail. Each one is handmade to order, unique and one-of-a-kind in every regard. Due to their handmade nature, they may vary slightly in size.
Unless your jewelry is made to order, we’ll ship your piece within 5 business days. If you need your order ASAP, please contact us to see if we can accommodate your request. All of our packages are shipped from our Ohio studio via USPS First Class Mail or USPS Priority Mail. Once your order leaves our studio you’ll receive a tracking number so that you can follow the progress of your shipment.
