We believe in inspiring and encouraging those around us. We believe that jewelry has a soul and can share its wears’ unique journey, relationships, and treasured memories.
We believe that old can be new and beloved again and that timeless jewelry doesn’t need to cost a fortune or come in a tiffany blue box to be loved.
We create jewelry with personal sentiments designed to inspire and celebrate life and its journey. We believe in creating a positive difference in the world through community and kindness, and believe that giving back should be the goal of all businesses.
We are tellers of your stories, keepers of your secrets, and givers to our community.
We are a family owned business that believes in tradition and love the history and symbolism behind the jewelry we create.
We love what we do and are humbled and honored to be on this amazing journey.
This symbol, a bird atop a star, and its secret meaning has been the cornerstone of our business from the beginning. You’ll see this image on every piece of Shannon Westmeyer Jewelry, not only is it our logo and trademark, but it’s also our mantra and daily reminder why we’ve been in business for 18 years.
The bird is a swallow and is a symbol for hope and kindness, while the star is a symbol for guidance and direction. So what does that mean?
You see, it’s our belief that a little kindness and a lot of hope go a long way. It costs nothing to be kind, and showing kindness to others, not only to our customers, but to the charities we support and missions we help is an important part of who we are. We’re always hopeful that our jewelry provides inspirational guidance and direction to its wears’ journey, but it’s through these values that we’re able to make the most impact through our support and empowerment of other women and children.
We’re making a difference with every purchase in our online shop!

HOW SHANNON WESTMEYER JEWELRY GIVES BACKThis journey started out in 2001 as a hobby, and if I’m being quite honest, from the need to escape the everyday trials and tribulations of being a stay at home mom. Maybe you’ve been there, maybe you haven’t, but we all at some point in our lives need an outlet. Mine just happened to be of the creative type, fueled by the desire to be my own boss and leave corporate America. I took several classes on making and creating lampwork glass beads and traveled extensively learning new techniques, meeting incredible artists and creating with an incredible group of likeminded women. What a journey!
My love of glass and a blow torch naturally evolved into silversmithing and I started creating and selling a line of jewelry with my glass beads to local boutiques and museum gift shops. Over the years my business has evolved and grown but one thing has remained constant, my love of creating inspirational pieces and telling stories through the jewelry I create.
The best part about running Shannon Westmeyer Jewelry is hearing your stories. The stories, symbolism, and heartfelt meaning behind each and every piece I create truly humble me, and I love helping you tell your stories and give unique gifts that are both full of meaning and inspirational.
"This is my third wax seal necklace from Shannon and also my favorite! It's the perfect token to show my love for my dog. Absolutely gorgeous and high quality with fast shipping. I love it!" ~Amy Noe
“I was looking to find a remembrance piece for my husband’s cousin. We got her the Forget Me Not necklace with the March birthstone. It’s perfect and so sweet, we know she will love it! And now I just can’t help getting a few pieces for myself since I admire your work so much."
