Skull Memento Mori Ring

A stunning skull wax seal ring with a wonderful Latin motto "Memento Mori", translated to "Remember your Mortality" or "Remember that you must die", a reminder to live life well. The phrase Memento Mori is a symbolic reminder of the inevitability of death and was first used in the late 1500's. I created the ring band to include vintage lines of prose from an old letter running across it, a perfect compliment to the seal. You may also select a plain ring band at checkout. Each ring is cast using the original historic seal dating to the late 1700's. Not your typical piece of jewelry, but one with a story, symbolism and meaning. Such a statement ring!

►WAX SEAL - the skull wax seal is approximately 3/4" across
►RING SIZE - ring is made of solid Sterling Silver and is available in whole and half sizes 5 - 12. For Sizes 9 and up there is a slight upcharge as they require more silver to make!
►BAND WIDTH - the band is approximately 1/4" wide (4mm) and is very comfortable, not too wide, not too skinny.....just perfect!

Each ring is hand cast using the original historic seal dating to the late 1700's, they are unique and one-of-a-kind in every regard so they may vary slightly from the pictures you see and may vary a tiny bit in dimension. Each piece has been given an antique patina and are hand rubbed and tumbled giving them an appealing vintage look that brings out all the detail. Each one is a work of art!

All of our packages are shipped from our Ohio studio via USPS First Class Mail or USPS Priority Mail. Once your order leaves our studio you’ll receive a tracking number so that you can follow the progress of your shipment.
