French Proverb: The Pitcher Will Go to the Well Once Too OftenThis wax seal charm depicts a broken pitcher with the French caption reading "Tant Va La Cruche a L'eau" or "The pitcher goes often to the well and gets broken at last". The expression means that one should not repeat a risky action too often, or push one's luck too far. Time ends all things.
The charm is symbolic of a risk taker, someone that is always pushing the envelope - this will remind them to not push too far for too long for all good things must come to an end. Better late than never, wait for true love.

♡♡ This pendant is made using the original wax seal that dates to the early 1800's. The charm has been given an antique patina to bring out all the details. Please note that the picture has been enlarged so you can see the detail. Each one is handmade to order, unique and one-of-a-kind in every regard. Due to their handmade nature, they may vary slightly in size.
Unless your jewelry is made to order, we’ll ship your piece within 5 business days. If you need your order ASAP, please contact us to see if we can accommodate your request. All of our packages are shipped from our Ohio studio via USPS First Class Mail or USPS Priority Mail. Once your order leaves our studio you’ll receive a tracking number so that you can follow the progress of your shipment.
