Pictured is an eagle soaring toward the sun surrounded by the Italian caption "No L Temo" which translates to "Fearless" or "I Have No Fear". The eagle is symbolic for courage, swiftness and strength. Being the king of birds it was reckoned to be able to fly up to the sun, without any fear and gaze unwaveringly upon it. There is an old indian legend that the eagle alone among animals can look into the sun. According to the translation of St. Augustine, "The sun invigorates the eyes of eagles, but injures our own."

♡♡ This pendant is made using the original wax seal that dates to the mid 1800's. The charm has been given an antique patina to bring out all the details. Please note that the picture has been enlarged so you can see the detail. Each one is handmade to order, unique and one-of-a-kind in every regard. Due to their handmade nature, they may vary slightly in size.
Unless your jewelry is made to order, we’ll ship your piece within 5 business days. If you need your order ASAP, please contact us to see if we can accommodate your request. All of our packages are shipped from our Ohio studio via USPS First Class Mail or USPS Priority Mail. Once your order leaves our studio you’ll receive a tracking number so that you can follow the progress of your shipment.
