The crest of a wolf was granted to valiant captains who served loyally through long sieges or hard enterprises. It signifies valor and guardianship. Wolves were viewed as ferocious and merciless and it was thought that they could paralyze their enemies with a look before destroying them. The bearer of this symbol was one who was dangerous to assail or thwart and a deadly enemy to have.

Each crest pendant is handmade to order using the original seal, so each one is unique to the person who wears it. Steeped in tradition and familial honor, this wax seal was a cherished heirloom that would have been passed down from generation to generation, it's meaning and symbolism a reminder to live life with Valor and Courage!

►SIZE: charm is approximately 1" x 3/4"
►MATERIALS: Sterling Silver
►NECKLACE OPTION: You may chose to order JUST the pendant or select from a variety of sterling chains available in shiny silver or antiqued silver finishes from the drop down menus to the right. *See last picture for reference.
►CHARM ONLY OPTION: If you chose to order the charm only it will come on a 5mm sterling jump ring that you may thread onto your own necklace.

Process

♡♡ This pendant is made using the original wax seal that dates to the mid 1800's. The charm has been given an antique patina to bring out all the details. Please note that the picture has been enlarged so you can see the detail. Each one is handmade to order, unique and one-of-a-kind in every regard. Due to their handmade nature, they may vary slightly in size.

Unless your jewelry is made to order, we’ll ship your piece within 5 business days. If you need your order ASAP, please contact us to see if we can accommodate your request. All of our packages are shipped from our Ohio studio via USPS First Class Mail or USPS Priority Mail. Once your order leaves our studio you’ll receive a tracking number so that you can follow the progress of your shipment.
